2nd Grade - Miss Kinzeler
• Return to Main Teacher/Staff List
Miss Charlene Kinzeler is the 2nd grade teacher. Miss Kinzeler has been teaching for 40 years, and we are lucky that she has spent all of them at St. Brigid School. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Education from the University of Dayton.
Miss Kinzeler said, “I love teaching at St. Brigid! It has a welcoming, family atmosphere. Second Graders have the best traits that students can possess: curiosity, enthusiasm, and compassion. Children this age are so much fun to teach! They are so excited to learn and discover new things.”
Welcome to 2nd Grade!
Important Information for 2nd Graders and Parents
Year of Great Spiritual Development!
This is a tremendously important year in your child’s faith development! Each day, we will prepare for the reception of the sacraments of Reconciliation and Eucharist besides focusing on good Christian living.
In the spring, leading up to receiving Jesus’ Body and Blood, the second graders participate in a Jesus Day – a day of fun-filled activities and practice for the special day.
In addition to attending weekly Mass and daily prayer, the students take part in Advent and Lenten prayer services.
